Our New Twitter Handles
Evangelist: So what's new with Sabka Traffic?
SabkaTraffic: Well, we actively listen to all our user requests and comments and have slowly addressed them all. Not long ago, we got a request to split up our real time Twitter feeds and today we are pleased to announce that we launched segregated Twitter feeds for each city.
Evangelist: That's great news, I was actually waiting for that feature. So how does it work exactly?
SabkaTraffic: It's really easy, what we did was we took each cities airport codes and created a Twitter handle with our SabkaTraffic prefix for each city that we support. Here are the cities we currently support and their respective Twitter handles:
Ahmedabad - @SabkaTrafficAMD
Bengaluru - @SabkaTrafficBLR
Chandigarh - @SabkaTrafficIXC
Chennai - @SabkaTrafficMAA
Delhi - @SabkaTrafficDEL
Hyderabad - @SabkaTrafficHYD
Indore - @SabkaTrafficIDR
Jaipur - @SabkaTrafficJAI
Kanpur - @SabkaTrafficKNU
Kolkata - @SabkaTrafficCCU
Lucknow - @SabkaTrafficLKO
Mumbai - @SabkaTrafficMUM
Nagpur - @SabkaTrafficNAG
Pune - @SabkaTrafficPNQ
Surate - @SabkaTrafficSTV
Global Incidents - @SabkaTraffic
Our primary twitter handle (@SabkaTraffic) will now be dedicated to global incident reporting and low volume Company announcements.
Evangelist: Does it also work with feature phones?
SabkaTraffic: Yes it does, but there are limitations. Currently there is only support for a few mobile providers (Bharati Airtel, Reliance, Videocon, Tata). For example if you wanted to subscribe to our real time traffic and incidents for Pune you would send a 'follow SabkaTrafficPNQ' SMS to 53000. Evangelist: I love you Sabka!
SabkaTraffic: *BLUSH* Evangelist like you make this grassroots initiative worth it!
